About this collection

The Fordham Center on Religion and Culture explores questions arising at the intersection of religious traditions and contemporary culture. CRC draws on New York’s leading role in intellectual and literary life, the visual and performing arts, politics and media, and diplomacy and humanitarian activities to explore religious life in all its diverse manifestations.

Founded in 2004 by Peter Steinfels and Margaret O’Brien Steinfels, and located at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center campus, CRC sponsors public events, conferences, press briefings, lectures, and symposiums throughout the calendar year. Videos from CRC's public events are now available in Fordham Libraries Digital Colletions. CRC will soon be making the transcripts from these events available in the Digital Collections. Stay tuned.
